Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.

We want to help students experience education without borders. The most important element is you. Without you, we can’t build a vibrant community of unbiased people sharing experiences and authentic information about studying overseas.

You can also participate by answering questions in our community section and can inspire people by contributing your student stories. If you are a prospective student you can get started on your search by reading our articles and researching universities through our website. To celebrate our launch we are giving away an iPad 3 (16GB) to one of our early users. Just sign up for StudentRoads and you will be automatically entered. The winner will be drawn randomly but you can earn additional entries every time you contribute to the StudentRoads community. March 13, 1988 was the day we moved to America. Although it wasn't my first time in the country, that date was the beginning of my journey through the American school system. Those eleven years filled me with a lifetime of great memories.
