University of Health Sciences Antigua

The University of Health Sciences Antigua, also known as UHSA, is a private university in Antigua, West Indies. The Dowhill Campus is located about 12 miles (19 km) from the capital city St. John's. The university is located on a 50-acre (200,000 m) area within the Historical National Park area of the English Harbor. The UHSA is recognized by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda. The school is listed in the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) International Medical Education Directory (IMED) as having commenced instruction in 1983. The school is listed with the World Health Organization Kansas had filed suit against a dentist for using the title "M.D.
