I went to FSU on an athletic scholarship having finished a degree at Stirling University in Scotland. The support system was phenomenal with experts for every question I had. The transition was made easier than maybe others would have it as I was surrounded by a team environment and made a lot of friends very quickly. As far as academics I was studying Sport Management after studying Sport Studies in Scotland. I found the work far less taxing than in the UK and the work never really took up much of my time. I'm not sure if that was because the academics were easier or if it was because I had already studied similar subjects and was familiar with the work. Campus life was great with plenty to do every night of the week and there was always a party to be found. I didn't partake in these things too much as I was training hard but I had friends who were having a lot of fun every night of the week. The town is beautiful if you like greenery and trails. I was there on a running scholarship so as far as training and facilities it is one of the best places in the world to be.
