Alpha Arts & Science College, popularly known as Alpha College, is a self-financing arts and science college in Thundalam, Porur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The college was started in the year 1996 with affiliation to University of Madras. The college is a part of the Alpha Group of Institutions. The campus is located in Thundalam, Porur in the suburbs of Chennai right behind Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute. A comprehensive Career Guidance Programme is offered. In January 2001, a Career Guidance booklet specially meant for under graduate students was compiled under the guidance of Mr.T.N.Seshan, Former Chief Election Commissioner, Govt. of India and was released by him during the later-University Symposium ALPHATECH-2001. The booklet offers various opportunities in India & abroad for further studies and employment. It is available in the college library for reference.
