Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.

Butte College
Butte - Glenn Community College is a community college located in northern California between the towns of Chico, Oroville and Paradise, approximately 80 miles(126km) north of the state capital. A fully accredited two-year institution with educational facilities in Chico and Orland. The campus rests on a wildlife refuge and has been recognized as a national community college leader in sustainability winning the grand prize 2008 National Wildlife Federation's Chill Out Contest: Campus Solutions to Global Warming and the 2009 National Campus Sustainability Leadership Award. After the passing of the 1960 Donahoe Act, voters of Butte County created a local community college district in 1966 to serve the educational and vocational needs of its citizens. In 1967, Butte College began by offering law enforcement, fire science, and vocational nursing classes in various locations throughout Butte County. The College officially opened its doors to the community in 1968 at the old Durham High School site with over 1900 people enrolled at the new college.

March 13, 1988 was the day we moved to America. Although it wasn't my first time in the country, that date was the beginning of my journey through the American school system. Those eleven years filled me with a lifetime of great memories.
