Canadian University College is a private, liberal arts institution located near the Central Alberta town of Lacombe. It is sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Canada and is affiliated with the Association of Theological Schools. The University College offers Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees, Bachelor of Science (BSc) degrees, a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (BBA), a Bachelor of Education degree (BEd) with elementary and secondary specializations and a Bachelor of Music (BMus - Performance) degree. All degrees are approved and monitored by the Campus Alberta Quality Council (CAQC) and the in the province of Alberta. About 400 students attend Canadian University College. They come from every Canadian province, from various states in the United States and from other countries around the world. The University College requires no specific religious affiliation for admission. The school's mission is to educate learners to think with discernment, to believe with insight and commitment and to act with confidence, compassion, and competence. The college places emphasis on service in local and global communities.
