Emmaus Bible College

Emmaus Bible College is located in Dubuque, Iowa, located on the Mississippi River, half-way between Chicago and Des Moines. The college is regionally accredited with the Higher Learning Commission of NCA. This is a Biblical higher education center which teaches the Bible, with an emphasis on New Testament principles and the integration of a biblical worldview into vocational and general studies through college-level programs. Emmaus has a Correspondence School division, as well. Courses are available in 105 countries and in 125 languages. Emmaus has a sister institution in Australia, Emmaus Bible College, Australia. Emmaus Bible College (USA) has about 300 full- and part-time students. Emmaus is associated with the Plymouth Brethren, a non-denominational, loose fellowship of like-minded evangelical churches. Fifty percent of the student body comes from the assemblies (Plymouth Brethren), while the other fifty percent comes from other evangelical backgrounds. Emmaus offers bachelor's degrees as well as associate degrees and certificates in Biblical and ministry-related fields.

  • Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.

  • March 13, 1988 was the day we moved to America. Although it wasn't my first time in the country, that date was the beginning of my journey through the American school system. Those eleven years filled me with a lifetime of great memories.

  • Mayank is an inventor and zebra-enthusiast. He developed Stripespotter, a biological barcode scanner for zebras, and is a part of the team behind Facebook insights. By way of India to Oman to the US, Mayank can be found behind the wheel of a red Porsche dreaming up his next big idea.
