Rasmussen College

Rasmussen College is a 110-year old for-profit private college offering Bachelor's and Associate's degrees at multiple campuses in Minnesota including Brooklyn Park, Eagan, Blommington, Lake Elmo, Mankato, Moorhead and St. Cloud; four campuses in Illinois, including Rockford, Aurora, Mokena/Tinley Park and Romeoville; two campuses in North Dakota, including Bismarck and Fargo; five campuses in Florida, including Fort Myers, Ocala, Tampa/Brandon and Pasco; three campuses in Wisconsin, including Green Bay, Wausau and Appleton; and an Online Division. Rasmussen College was founded in 1900 by Walter Rasmussen. Rasmussen College offers on campus and online classes and awards Bachelor of Science (BS), Associate of Applied Science (AAS), and Associate of Science (AS) degrees. Students may earn diplomas and certificates in a variety of career-focused areas as well. The school was founded in 1900 as the Rasmussen School of Business by Walter Rasmussen in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Rasmussen believed that the need for skilled professionals by the local business community was not being met.

  • Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.

  • March 13, 1988 was the day we moved to America. Although it wasn't my first time in the country, that date was the beginning of my journey through the American school system. Those eleven years filled me with a lifetime of great memories.

  • Mayank is an inventor and zebra-enthusiast. He developed Stripespotter, a biological barcode scanner for zebras, and is a part of the team behind Facebook insights. By way of India to Oman to the US, Mayank can be found behind the wheel of a red Porsche dreaming up his next big idea.
