University of Wisconsin-Richland Center

The University of Wisconsin–Richland (formerly University of Wisconsin Center-Richland) is a two-year campus of the University of Wisconsin System located in Richland Center, Wisconsin, United States. The University of Wisconsin–Richland is a freshman-sophomore campus. UW–Richland is one of thirteen freshman-sophomore liberal arts transfer campuses of the University of Wisconsin Colleges, and offers a general education associate degree. The campus is located on 135 acres (0.55 km) in Richland Center, the birthplace of architect Frank Lloyd Wright. UW–Richland has seven main buildings—Classroom Building, East Hall, Melvill Hall, Miller Memorial Library, Roadrunner Gymnasium, Science Hall, and Wallace Student Center/Coppertop Theatre. Improvements and expansions include construction of the community’s on-campus Symons Recreation Complex in 1987, Campus View student housing in 1987, expanded in 1988 and 1999, renovation and expansion of Melvill Hall in 1998, and Science Hall in 2001. East Hall, a former county building adjacent to the campus, was renovated and became the newest UW-Richland building in 2010.

  • Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.

  • March 13, 1988 was the day we moved to America. Although it wasn't my first time in the country, that date was the beginning of my journey through the American school system. Those eleven years filled me with a lifetime of great memories.

  • Mayank is an inventor and zebra-enthusiast. He developed Stripespotter, a biological barcode scanner for zebras, and is a part of the team behind Facebook insights. By way of India to Oman to the US, Mayank can be found behind the wheel of a red Porsche dreaming up his next big idea.
