Assam Engineering College

Assam Engineering College established in 1955 is located in Jalukbari area of Guwahati city. It is the premier technical institute of the entire North East India. It is the first under graduate engineering college in the northeastern India and today becomes a premier technical institute of the entire country. AEC has been the hub centre of many academic and supplementary activities in Assam for almost half a century. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education AICTE. The college offers Bachelor courses (BE) on the fields of Electrical engineering,Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Sc. & Engineering., Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering., Industrial & Prod. Engineering., Instrumentation Engineering. & Mechanical Engineering. It also offers Masters courses on Computer Application (MCA), Electrical Engineering (ME), Civil Engineering (ME), Mechanical engineering(ME). It also offers Ph. D facility in Soil Mechanics & Hydraulics. All the courses are affiliated to Gauhati University, the educational hub of the entire North-East region.
