Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.

Baptist Bible College and Seminary
Baptist Bible College & Seminary was founded in 1932 in Johnson City, New York. It is a fully accredited, Christ-centered educational institution. The College originally used the facilities of First Baptist Church in Johnson City, with the student body growing from the first enrollment of 40 students. The College gradually purchased and built some buildings of its own. In the 1960s, the need for a new campus became evident. In 1968, Pennsylvania Governor William Scranton assisted in locating the Clarks Summit campus for the school which is only a few hours from New York City and Philadelphia by car. Baptist Bible College & Seminary is part of a community offering the dual benefits of a low cost of living and a high quality of life. The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre region of more than 500,000 people ranks among the safest metro areas in the nation. The campus in the suburban area of Clarks Summit is about 10 miles from Scranton, the largest city in Northeastern Pennsylvania and the county seat of Lackawanna County. It is an area both rich with history and focused on growing its economy in areas of industry and technology.

March 13, 1988 was the day we moved to America. Although it wasn't my first time in the country, that date was the beginning of my journey through the American school system. Those eleven years filled me with a lifetime of great memories.
