Branston Community Academy, formerly known as Branston School and Community College, is a comprehensive school for 11-18 year old students on Station Road in Branston, Lincolnshire, England. Although North Kesteven is comprehensive, there are two grammar schools in nearby Sleaford. In the 2005 school league table results for Lincolnshire, the school came 22 out of 66 similar schools in the county for attainment at GCSE/GNVQ level, and 16 out of 36 for attainment at A level/AS level. It became a Business & Enterprise College in September 2002. In September 2007, it also became one of the small minority of schools in the top rated "outstanding school" category by Ofsted. Inspectors judged relationships between students and staff and student behaviour to be "outstanding". In December 2010 the school changed its name from Branston Community College to Branston Community Academy. The school was built in the 1950s and originally known as Branston Secondary Modern. By 1959, records show that around 350 pupils were enrolled. Today there are over 1,200 on the roll.
