Brookdale Community College is an accredited coeducational public community college in Lincroft, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Brookdale Community College was founded in 1967 and has Higher Education Centers in Neptune, Freehold, Hazlet, Long Branch, Sandy Hook, and Wall. Brookdale is an open-admission college, available to anyone 18 years of age or older, or anyone who is a high school graduate or holder of an equivalency diploma. It serves the residents of Monmouth County and surrounding communities. One in every three Monmouth County high school graduates attend Brookdale. The College offers Associate degrees in more than 60 programs, plus non-credit classes and certificate programs. Brookdale is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The Lincroft campus comprises 22 buildings, including the Center for the Visual Arts, the Center for World War II Studies, and the Donald D. Warner Student Life Center. The newly-renovated Robert J. Collins Arena/Brookdale Recreation ajnd Events Center holds special events, including conventions, concerts, and athletic competitions.
