Cadbury College

Cadbury Sixth Form College is a sixth form college in Kings Norton, Birmingham, UK. The college principal is Jeremy Rogers, having taken over from David Igoe in August 2009. Cadbury College is a sixth form college founded in 1983 following a restructure of further education provision in Birmingham. It is a highly successful college, delivering an exclusively A Level curriculum for 1,500 16-18 year old students. Despite the college's location in the south-west of the city, it has a wide catchment area – taking students from over 100 schools from as far afield as Sutton Coldfield and Worcestershire. Past students always comment on the college’s adult feel and its friendly but purposeful atmosphere. The college is unusual in that its students can choose to study any combination of the 44 A Level subjects available. Students can also take a range of enrichment courses, or choose studies from a small number of BTEC (A Level equivalent) courses. Over 80% of Cadbury College students go on to university. Cadbury Sixth Form College is situated in a pleasant campus with good recreational facilities and plenty of open space for sport and relaxation.

  • Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.

  • March 13, 1988 was the day we moved to America. Although it wasn't my first time in the country, that date was the beginning of my journey through the American school system. Those eleven years filled me with a lifetime of great memories.

  • Mayank is an inventor and zebra-enthusiast. He developed Stripespotter, a biological barcode scanner for zebras, and is a part of the team behind Facebook insights. By way of India to Oman to the US, Mayank can be found behind the wheel of a red Porsche dreaming up his next big idea.
