Chevalier College is a Catholic co-educational school in Bowral, New South Wales conducted by the priests and brothers of the international religious order, the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (M.S.C.). It is a member of the Independent Schools Association (ISA). In Chevalier College there are four houses with four different colours: Osbourne, with the colour yellow; Riversdale, with the colour red; Giles, with the colour blue; and Reid with the colour green. In 2010, the house Burford, with the colour purple, was added. Father Burford, of whom the house was named after, was the rector of the school from 1952 until 1956. He died on February 16, 1983.
