Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.

Chisholm Catholic College
Chisholm Catholic College is a single campus co-educational catholic high school in Cornubia, 32 km south-east of Brisbane, Australia, with approximately 600 year 8-12 students. Established in 1992, it is administered by Brisbane Catholic Education. Situated on an 11 hectare site in Cornubia, Chisholm Catholic College opened in 1992, with an initial enrolment of 60 Year 8 students and eleven staff housed in three buildings, and become one of the first private schools in the district. The school now caters for over 600 students. Chisholm Catholic College's founding principal was Mr Mike Ashton. The college's current principal is Mr Christopher Leadbetter, who took the reins from Mr Neville Feeney in 2008. The deputy principal is now Dr Irene Poh after Mr James Robinson was seconded to a BCE regional office position at the end of 2010. Caroline Chisholm inspired many people through her charity work and her kind nature. Her focus was on the education and employment of female immigrants. It is because of her efforts that she was selected to become the patron of the college. Chisholm Catholic College students are allocated to one of five houses, each named after a notable Australian.

March 13, 1988 was the day we moved to America. Although it wasn't my first time in the country, that date was the beginning of my journey through the American school system. Those eleven years filled me with a lifetime of great memories.
