Chodang University is the only university in Muan County, a largely rural district of South Korea's South Jeolla province. The current president is Boung-Sik, Kim. The school's academic program is designed to provide students, who want to pursue higher education for professional knowledge and research, with quality education so that they can contribute to the development and prosperity of the community and country significantly. By teaching humanism to establish values that are upright, we foster students who can promote mutual prosperity of mankind. - We research and develop practical knowledge and promote curriculums that can deliver professional learning and   technical education simultaneously. First, academic programs are devise to prepare enable students to adapt rapidly changing world. In addition, Chodang University strengthens the competitiveness by applying rational and democratic practices (*Administration Principle). Second, Chodang University promotes quality of educations by enhancing academic programs and educational facilities in response to students' needs as well as changing society.
