Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE), started in 1979, was founded by Sri R Dayananda Sagar. It is located on 32 acres (130,000 m) of land in Bangalore South. Research programmes sponsored by AICTE, AR&DB, KSCST are undertaken. The college organizes seminars, workshops, teaching talks, sports and extracurricular activities. The Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering was established in 1979 with the basic courses of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The college offers undergraduate programmes leading to 4year/5 Bachelors and 2 years/3 years master degree of the Visvesvaraya Technological University in the following streams. There are landscaped gardens, trees lined pathways, and student rest places. Play grounds and indoor sports facilities help in development of physical skills.It is actually the first campus to go wi-fi in India.There's also an old temple(Shavige Temple) in the campus. Nescafe has its outlet in the DSI, which is the favorite hangout for the students.

  • Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.
