Emanuel University

Emanuel University is a private university based in Oradea, Romania. The roots of Emanuel University were planted in 1986, when Emanuel Baptist Church of Oradea, formerly known as the Second Baptist Church of Oradea, initiated an underground Bible institute to train the upcoming pastors and missionaries of the Communist Romania. Today, Emanuel University of Oradea is the only government accredited evangelical Christian university in Europe. It is functioning under the spiritual authority of the Emanuel Baptist Church of Oradea, and under the academic authority of the Romanian Department of Education by the accreditation it was granted.
