Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.

Farringdon Community Sports College
Farringdon Community Sports College is a comprehensive school in the suburb of Farringdon in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. The school is a specialist Sports College. The school was built along with the estate of Farringdon in 1956. Over decades the school has undergone a number of changes, including the construction of new blocks of classrooms and a state-of-the-art sports hall. It currently supports 885 students. The Community Sports College once acted as the main secondary school for the suburbs of Farringdon, Doxford Park, Silksworth and East Herrington. Its catchment area was reduced in 2003 following the completion of the Church of EnglandVoluntary Aided Venerable Bede School in Tunstall. In 2002, the school became the site of the Farringdon Jubilee Centre, a community centre of the residents of Farringdon partly funded by the school. The building includes facilities such as training rooms, computers and a crèche. It is used to deliver training and courses to local residents and to act as a meeting point for local residents and community groups. It hosts a regular community day 4 times a year, hosting the army, the RAF and many other organisations there.

March 13, 1988 was the day we moved to America. Although it wasn't my first time in the country, that date was the beginning of my journey through the American school system. Those eleven years filled me with a lifetime of great memories.
