Guangdong University Of Business Studies (Simplified Chinese:广东商学院; Pinyin:Guǎngdōng Shāng Xuéyuàn) established in 1983 is a public university located in the capital of Guangdong province. It is sometimes refer to Guangdong Business College or Guangdong Commercial College. It is located near to the Guangzhou International Meeting and Exhibition Center (where part of the Canton Fair is held every year). Although it is called "college", it is a public university. There are 11 faculties and 13,818 full time students at the moment. The Guangzhou Campus of the university is situated at No. 21, Luntou Road(仑头路)or Chisha Road(赤沙路),Haizhu District(海珠区), Guangzhou, Guangdong, CHN. There is a bus terminal at the gate of the college which bus No. 14 and No. 37 serve to the university. GUBS is one of the key universities in Guangdong Province and its emphasis on economics and finance attracts numerous students from China every yeat. For this reason, the admission process is extremely competitive aunually so that Chinese students have to get more than 80% in Chinese National University Entrance Examination to enroll in GUBS.
