The Technological Institute of Ensenada (Spanish: Instituto Tecnológico de Ensenada, ITE) is a college level technological institution located in the city of Ensenada, in Baja California, Mexico. It started operations since September 5, 1997. The Instituto Tecnológico de Ensenada starts its activities on September 1997, after nine years of operating as a Unit from Instituto Tecnológico de Tijuana. The demand of new options of higher education level to give support and service to the productive sector and the community and efforts of the board of teachers along with federal, state and municipal authorities gave result the birth of this Institute. This way, the Instituto Tecnológico de Ensenada opens the offerings on High Education Level, seeking for the Institutional Integrity with the industry private sector.
