Intellitec Medical Institute

Intellitec Medical Institute, a for-profit medical career training college, began in 1966 as PPI Health Careers School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 1988, the school relocated to their current 27,180-square-foot (2,525 m) location. IntelliTec Medical Institute was obtained by N B Education, LLC in November 2006 with goals for future growth and additional medical training centers. Associate Degrees (Associate of Occupational Studies Degree): • Massage Therapist - Massage is one of the oldest forms of healing. The Chinese date massage therapy back 3,000 years. The ancient Hindus, Persians and Egyptians applied forms of massage for many ailments, and Hippocrates wrote papers recommending the use of rubbing and friction for joint and circulatory problems. Today, there are many benefits of massage therapy. As an accepted part of many physical rehabilitation programs, massage therapy has also proven beneficial for many chronic conditions, including low back pain, arthritis, bursitis, fatigue, high blood pressure, diabetes, infertility, smoking cessation and depression.

  • Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.

  • March 13, 1988 was the day we moved to America. Although it wasn't my first time in the country, that date was the beginning of my journey through the American school system. Those eleven years filled me with a lifetime of great memories.
