Melbourne Business School (MBS) is a business school located in Melbourne, Australia that has been ranked in the Financial Times Top 100 Global MBAs since 2005 and The Economist Top 20 in the World. MBS was placed as the second best business school in the Asia-Pacific in the 2010 QS Global 200 Business Schools Report. Since 2008 it has been ranked #1 for Executive Education in the Asia-Pacific region. It has recently ranked all-time high of 17 in the World in the latest 2010 The Economist MBA ranking although at the same time slipping from 52 to 63 in the 2010 Financial Times Rankings. It also ranked at Number 2 for most preferred school by recruiters in the Asia-Pacific, in a survey done by QS Top MBA. MBS has four campuses: Melbourne Business School (MBS) began in 1954 when the University of Melbourne offered Australia’s first residential executive education program in the summer of that year. Its first Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree was awarded in 1965, which was also the first MBA degree awarded in Australia.
