Radford College

Radford College is an independent, Anglican, co-educational day school, located in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia. The College has a non-selective enrolment policy and currently caters for approximately 1,600 students from the Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten to Year 12. There are approximately equal numbers of boys and girls. Radford was established in 1984 and named after the Right Reverend Lewis Bostock Radford, under the aegis of the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn. The Bishop of Canberra and Goulburn is the Visitor to the College. Radford College was established on the 11 February 1984, with 240 students and a staff of 21, and Mr Jock Mackinnon AM as the founding Principal. It was named after the Rt Revd Lewis Bostock Radford, the fourth Bishop of Canberra and Goulburn. The college's first Kindergarten class started in 2007, and a Junior School for Years 1 to 4 opened on 4 January 2008. At Radford, there are 8 sporting houses. Each is named after an Australian plant and is represented by one colour.

  • Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.
