Shenton College is a co-educational Independent Public Secondary school located in Shenton Park, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. Shenton College was established in January 2001 through the amalgamation of Swanbourne and Hollywood Senior High Schools at a cost of $23.5 million. It was a project headed by the then Education Minister Colin Barnett as part of the Local Area Education Planning (LAEP) process. The inaugural Principal of the College was Pauline Coghlan who was succeeded by Mr. Michael Morgan in September 2008. In February 2009 Shenton College and the Pilbara's Newman Senior High School announced a sister schooling partnership.
