St. Servatius' College is a boys' school in Sri Lanka. It is located in the Matara District - Sri Lanka's southern-most District. The beginning of the St. Servatius' college goes back on well in the course of 100 years. The establishment of 2 nd of November, 1897. The college becomes called after the saint, bishop St. Servatius ' Belgium. The only other St. Servatius' college goes had been also established in Belgium in memory pre-mentioned saint Servatius. The original St. Servatius has been built by Servatius in to the Nilwala river much closer position. It has been laid later by the present meeting place under the clientele the Christian missionaries who cleared the way for west education in Ceylon then (Sri Lanka) The St. Servatius' college was founded on the 2nd November, 1897, by the Belgian Rev. Father Augustus Standard on a small block of the land at the bank of River Nilwala in Pallimulla, Matara. After some years the school was exchanged to the present position where the school stands in Kotuwegoda, Matara.
