The Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management, Nashik, India, is a management education institute which serves only operations stream of the management studies. It was established in 2005 to impart knowledge on Operations management. It is a part of Symbiosis family of institutes Pune, one of the largest private Educational Trusts in India. SIOM is an institute dedicated to operations management (OM). It is located about 185 km away from Mumbai and 220 km away from Pune. It conducts various research projects with the industries which are located in Nashik or nearby. SIOM offers Master in Business Administration (Operations Management) being a constituent of Symbiosis International University (formerly known as Symbiosis International Education Centre). MBA (Operations Management) is a full time residential course offered to the engineering graduates joining through a common entrance test conducted for all the Symbiosis Institutes called SNAP TEST. Students are selected through a national level entrance test, the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test for Post Graduation (SNAP).
