Texas A&M University at Qatar is a branch of Texas A&M University located in Education City, Doha, Qatar. The University offers undergraduate degrees in chemical, electrical, mechanical, and petroleum engineering. Graduate programs commenced in 2008 in both Master of Engineering and Master of Science degrees. The curriculum that is offered at Texas A&M University at Qatar is identical to the one offered at the main campus in College Station. Dr. Mark Weichold serves as the Dean and CEO of the campus while Dr. Hamid Parsaei serves as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Dr. Kenneth R. Hall serves as Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Studies. Texas A&M at Qatar aims to develop exemplary engineers and leaders through internationally respected undergraduate and graduate degree programs, generate new knowledge by conducting research and disseminating results, and serve the needs of the State of Qatar and the region through broad expertise.
