Roma Tre University (Italian: Università degli Studi Roma Tre) is a university located in Rome, Italy, and founded in 1992. It currently offers 54 undergraduate degree programs, 75 Masters degree programs, 16 doctorate schools, and 5 Ph.D. programs. It is one of the few universities in Italy which admits students on the basis of an entry test. The university offers courses and programs from the following 8 schools: The university's libraries are organized in the Sistema Bibliotecario di Ateneo, more commonly known as SBA. The fame of this new university is mainly associated with the Faculty of Law. The Faculy of Law is indeed one of the best schools in Italy and is constantly ranked among the top-five in the country with a rating of AAA (Censis-La Repubblica ranking). This is mostly due to the admission selection through an entry test and to the small-size of the classes. The Faculty is particularly famous in the fields of International Law, Administrative Law and Civil Law. The School of Political Science too is ranked among the top-ten faculties of political science. Special importance has been given to the International dimension of the University ever since its first years.
