Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.

University Carlo Cattaneo
The University Carlo Cattaneo (Italian: Libera Università Carlo Cattaneo, LIUC) is a university located in Castellanza, Italy. It was founded in 1991 and is organized in three Faculties. The University is named after Carlo Cattaneo, a nineteenth century local thinker and economist whose philosophy placed human intelligence and willpower alongside the three elements of classic economics - raw materials, capital and labour - thus putting the entrepreneur at the very heart of the economic process. The University Carlo Cattaneo (LIUC) is an independent, state-recognised institution established in 1991 by the Industrial Association of the Province of Varese (UNIVA). It is situated in the small town of Castellanza, within easy reach of Milan and the Malpensa International Airport. The university is housed in a nineteenth century cotton mill which has been beautifully restored by the world famous Italian architect Aldo Rossi. It is only 400 metres from the train station that links Castellanza to Milan in 35 minutes and just over 1 kilometre from the motorway. The University is an important example of the tradition for initiative and entrepreneurship in this part of Italy.

March 13, 1988 was the day we moved to America. Although it wasn't my first time in the country, that date was the beginning of my journey through the American school system. Those eleven years filled me with a lifetime of great memories.
