Uxbridge College is one of the general further education with colleges in London. It has two campuses one in Uxbridge in the London Borough of Hillingdon and the other one in Hayes in the same borough. Uxbridge College has spent heavily on its buildings, facilities and IT systems, spending £38m over the last 12 years. Facilities include the £5m Mall and teaching centre completed in September 2006, the £6.3m Technical Institute, its professional-level hair and beauty salons, and training kitchens. The Uxbridge campus hosts its Mall. The Mall offers conference and classroom facilities alongside a coffee and relaxation area. It is also home to student and learning support services and includes private offices for confidential meetings. The Hayes Community Campus offers purpose built facilities including professional-level hair and beauty salons, a theatre for dance and drama performances, a nursery and a multi-gym.
