The College was established by the V.L.B. Trust in the year 1985, a charitable organization founded by the great philanthropist and industrialist, the late Shri.V.L.BalaKrishna Naidu. Since its inception, it has been relentlessly serving the society by promoting engineering education to the common man and the rural masses. Ms.S.Malarvizhi, Chairperson and Managing Trustee and Dr. V. Soundararajan, Principal are at the helm of the administration of the college. They are supported by a team of experienced faculty, skilled technical staff and excellent non-teaching staff. Housed in an area of 130 acres (0.53 km), the college offers its students physical infrastructure facilities on the most modern lines. The V.L.B Janakiammal College of Engineering & Technology is a self-financing engineering college in located at Coimbatore, India. It is a private school affiliated with Anna University. It offers both undergraduate & postgraduate education. It was awarded its accreditation status by the NBA (National Board of Accreditation) in 2008 for all its courses except for the Master of Business Administration.
