Vasavi college of engineering

Vasavi College of Engineering (VCE) (Telugu: వాసవి సాంకేతిక కళాశాల) is a self-financed, technical institution located in Ibrahimbagh, Hyderabad, India. It is 12 km from the city center. The institution is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad. Founded in 1981 by the Vasavi Academy of Education, it is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. In 2007 it was ranked 34th among all the private engineering colleges in India. The college was founded by Sri Pendekanti Venkatasubbaiah, a veteran statesman of Independent India. With the historic Golconda Fort close by, the Vasavi College of Engineering covers over 13.6-acre (55,000 m) campus. VCE is home to 170 faculty, 2300 students and 100 administrative and support staff. The college has ten academic departments in engineering and science disciplines. The Taramati Baradari is adjacent to the campus. The entrance to VCE lies on the Mehdipatnam - Gandipet Road and is flanked by the Golconda Fort and Taramati Baradari. The campus, located 15 km from Begumpet Airport, 27 km from Secunderabad railway station and 13 km from Nampally railway station, is well connected by buses.

  • Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.
