The Centro Universitario Anglo Mexicano (Anglo-Mexican University Centre) is a high school in Mexico City, Mexico. After being principal of Queen Elizabeth School Jr. High school, Raúl Miranda Pasquel was asked to open a high school. CUAM was inaugurated on September 4, 1974, in the San José Insurgentes neighborhood in Mexico City, having, at that time, 108 students, most of them from Queen Elizabeth School. Ten years later, a new school facility, CUAM Aguilas, was inaugurated in Las Aguilas neighborhood. The next year, expansion proceeded in the city of Cuernavaca, where CUAM Morelos, housing near 120 newcomer students, was opened. In 1989 CUAM Acapulco opened, serving a population of 150 students at the High School and Junior High School levels. In 1999, CUAM Águilas was converted to CEAM Junior High School, as well as the fourth regional CUAM opened, in the city of Cancún, through a strategic alliance with well recognized "Centro Escolar BALAM", offering now from Kindergarten through High School level. In 2004, CUAM acquired a property formerly owned by Mexican comedian Mario Moreno "Cantinflas", being transformed into a Junior High School, CEAM Morelos.
