Dnyaneshwar Vidyapeeth is an experiment in Private Technical Education University. Dnyaneshwar Vidyapeeth has openly challenged Indian Education for its ignorance of the private open education university concept. It was founded by Dr. M. D. Apte in 1980, and it is located in Pune, India. "Vidyapeeth" means university in Marathi and Sanskrit, the Indian regional language.
