Drummond and Smith College

Drummond and Smith College is a residential college at the University of New England in Armidale, New South Wales. Drummond and Smith College is located on the University of New England campus, about 15 minutes walk from the main university facilities. It is one of eight residential colleges situated on the University campus. Drummond and Smith is a co-residential college which aims to provide its residents with a community in which academic success can be achieved while also balancing this with a social and personal development. As with most UNE colleges, Drummond and Smith is fully-catered, offering residents 21 meals per week. Drummond & Smith College, along with Duval College, offers a "Flexi Choice" option for meals, which gives students the chance to pay only for the meals they eat using a "smart card". A weekly cleaning service is also provided by the college. Drummond and Smith College is made up of four blocks which form to create a central courtyard used for sporting and social functions. Each block has 3 floors and contains laundry facilities along with bathrooms on each floor.

  • Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.
