Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (Irish: Institúid Teicneolaíochta na Gaillimhe-Maigh Eo) is a third level institute of education and is based at five locations in the west of Ireland. The Dublin Road campus on the outskirts of Galway City is the administrative headquarters for the college and has five Schools of study, which include business, engineering, hotel catering, humanities and science. Also located at this campus is the Innovation in Business Centre (IiBC), the Lifelong Learning Centre and the Research, Development & Innovation Centre. Cluain Mhuire is located a mile from the main campus on the Monivea Road. It is based in an old Redemptorist Monastery and is now the location of an Art, Design and media college. The campus has rapidly been gaining a reputation for high standards in the fields of fine art, design and media. The annual graduate exhibitions and screenings showcase the quality of the work being produced throughout the acedmic year. The Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology at Castlebar is located on approximately 20 hectares of land less than 10 minutes walk from Castlebar Town.
