Institute of Management Studies

The Institute of Management Studies (IMS) - Devi Ahilya University (DAVV), Indore was founded in 1969 as the Faculty of Management Studies under Devi Ahilya University with approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and fianancial support from the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. The institutes is one of the oldest business schools in India and now run various management courses. The institute is situated in the Takshila Campus of the Devi Ahilya University which is on the Khandwa Road. Established in 1969, under the aegis of the University, Institute of Management Studies (IMS), Devi Ahilya University acts as the management education wing of DAVV and shares the responsibility to provide leadership in fulfilling the joint mission of education, research and training. The institute is one of the top ranking institutions in India. All India Ranked seventh by Outlook in the 2005 edition in the university based MBA courses. MBA(Core)full time being the most premium course in IMS. The Institute started a Health Care Programme with the Tulane University, New Orleans, USA.

  • Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.
