International Business College Fort Wayne, IN

International Business College is a small, for-profit career college located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The institution was founded in 1889 and is now located in the Village at Coventry. IBC awards diplomas, associate degrees, and bachelor’s degrees. The college states that it focuses on job placement for graduates and that financial aid is available for those who qualify. According to Peterson's (http://www.petersons.com) and recent institutional publications, International Business College has an undergraduate population of 656. Of 979 applicants, 730 (or 785) were admitted. For the most recent year, 73% of entering students graduated and 90% of all graduates were placed in jobs. International Business College provides career-focused courses to high school graduates. IBC’s programs generally offer hands-on learning opportunities that help prepare graduates to start working immediately. Some programs offer externships as well. Students can graduate in 8–12 months by earning a diploma. Associate degree programs can be completed in 14–18 months and bachelor’s degree programs can take as little as 30 months. Some courses are offered in both evening daytime classes.
