The Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences is one of eight federally recognized Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences. It currently comprises the following Departments: The Kalaidos UAS is one of the two Swiss UAS organized according to private law. As such, it does not receive federal or cantonal subsidies, but is also less constrained by bureaucratic rules and regulations. PHW Business School is a Swiss higher education institution. It is part of the federally accredited Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences, one of eight such universities accredited by the Swiss Federal Council. It has a hybrid role as the only Swiss university of applied sciences organized according to private law, which allows the school to award nationally and internationally recognized and protected degrees. With currently three undergraduate and twelve graduate degree programs in the field of business and management, it is one of Switzerland's largest business schools.
