McMaster Divinity College

McMaster Divinity College, also known as MacDiv, is a Christian seminary in Hamilton, Ontario. It is affiliated with the Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec, although in practice it is interdenominational, and could be said to more closely align with the broader Evangelical tradition. McMaster styles itself, "Canada's University based Evangelical Seminary." The mission is to develop effective Evangelical Christian leaders who are equipped for ministry in the 21st century. Though the College and McMaster University have been independent of one another since 1957, the College maintains strong links with many of McMaster University's Christian groups, and also serves as a resource for them. It offers worship and meeting space, as well as hosting outside speakers. It is accredited by the ATS. McMaster Divinity College is the official ministerial training school of the BCOQ. Through the BCOQ, the College is recognized in the Canadian Baptist Ministries. McMaster Divinity College is an affiliate organization of the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada. The college was also home to Dr. Clark Pinnock, who taught at the college for many years.

  • Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.

  • March 13, 1988 was the day we moved to America. Although it wasn't my first time in the country, that date was the beginning of my journey through the American school system. Those eleven years filled me with a lifetime of great memories.

  • Mayank is an inventor and zebra-enthusiast. He developed Stripespotter, a biological barcode scanner for zebras, and is a part of the team behind Facebook insights. By way of India to Oman to the US, Mayank can be found behind the wheel of a red Porsche dreaming up his next big idea.
