NewSchool of Architecture and Design (NSAD) is a for-profit institution of higher education located in downtown San Diego. The school’s first degree program was the Bachelor of Architecture. In 2008, NSAD was acquired by Laureate Education Inc. Welsh designed a professional education program that culminated with the Bachelor of Architecture degree. Today, NSAD offers undergraduate and graduate programs in architecture, digital media arts, landscape architecture and construction management.
