Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.

South Georgia College
South Georgia College is a two-year, state-supported, residential junior college located in Douglas, Georgia. South Georgia College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award certificates and associate degrees. South Georgia College is also certified under the National League for Nursing and the Georgia Board of Nursing. Students at SGC go on to four year institutions as SGC is a two-year residential college campus. Created by an act of the Georgia Legislature on August 18, 1906 as the 11th District A & M School, it became Georgia's first state-supported two-year college in 1927. In 1932 South Georgia College emerged as one of the original 26 institutions of the University System of Georgia which traces its origins to the chartering of the University of Georgia in 1785. Joseph Meriwether Thrash (1885-1947) joined the faculty in 1907, and later served as the fifth principal of the A & M School. He became the college's first president in 1927.
