Vikram University (Devanagari: विक्रम विश्वविद्यालय) is a university in the city of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India. Ujjain is known for its antiquity and its rich cultural and religious traditions. The university, which is named after the ruler Vikramaditya, was established in 1957. The foundation stone was laid by the then Home Minister of India Govind Vallabh Pant. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in India has awarded grade "A" to the university.
