Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNRVJIET) is an engineering college in Hyderabad, India recognized by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University hyderabad. It is often referred to as VNR College or Vignana Jyothi Engineering College or VNRVJIET. As of July 2010, the institute's intake is 720 students towards B. Tech program, 180 towards its M. Tech program and 240 Towards Polytechnic program (from 2009), with 140 dedicated faculty. VNRVJIET attempts to integrate classroom learning with industry exposure to ensure the application of knowledge during the course of study it self. VNRVJIET focuses on high quality education and research in the fields of Science,Technology and Engineering. The objective is to prepare young students to act as leaders for the promotion of the economic and industrial growth of the country and to play a creative role in society. The four-year course is so structured that it leads to a linear growth and progressive insight into the engineering subjects as well as training in soft skills.
