Maria Ly is quite literally a Rock Star. You’ll often find her hanging off a 5.13a grade rock climbing route, she is the rock star co-founder of Skimble (which is incubated by Rock Health), and you can find her rock formation photography featured in Outside Magazine.

World Medicine Institute
The World Medicine Institute (WMI), located in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States, offers master's and postgraduate doctoral degrees in acupuncture and oriental medicine. WMI's programs are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and approved by the Hawaii State Board of Acupuncture The college was named Tai Hsuan Foundation College of Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine until 2005. WMI was founded by Chang Yi Hsiang, PhD. It originally opened as The School of the Six Chinese Arts in 1970 and was formally registered with the State in 1972. In 1974, some of the school's founders helped establish the Hawaii State Acupuncture Board which was subsequently by the Hawaii State Legislature as the "Acupuncture Bill". At the time, Hawaii was the second state to legally recognize and license acupuncturists. Dr. Chang served from 1974 to 1978 as a Commissioner on the first Hawaii State Board of Acupuncture. In 1985, the school applied for candidacy to the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) and in 1991 was granted full accreditation.
